On October 12 at the Boyarsky Hall of the Metropol Hotel a presentation of the Imperial Style collection by TSIGANOVA brand will take place. The founder and the mastermind of the brand is Vika Tsiganova, Russian singer actress, artist and designer. The event will open the 2017 Spring-Summer Season of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia in Moscow.

The collection will be presented in the format of an installation titled the Magic Gardens. Creative Director of the project is Ekaterina Melnikova, stylist and architect.

The music for every piece of the collection is chosen by an Italian conductor, composer and multi-instrumentalist Fio Zanotti (Adriano Celentano’s sound producer). The musician will support the event not only through his work, but also with his presence.

The guests will be invited for a walk through a magic garden, where every item of the collection will open up and come to life, and a Russian-Italian cocktail reception. The official part of the programme will be followed by a private party at the Shut Up night club.

The creator and the mastermind of the collection Vika Tsiganova shared her thoughts about inspiration and the opening of the Fashion Week:

‘I find my inspiration in the architecture, in Russian churches and cathedrals, since their beauty is unique. Looking at a panel building is one thing, and it’s quite another when you look at Russian monasteries, churches and masses served in them. This majestic splendour guides your soul towards spiritual heights.’

‘I am very happy that my collection will be shown, and that the attention of the big fashion world will be drawn to my works. To be presenting my garments at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is quite an event for me. Now, more people will have the opportunity to see the beauty created by my craftswomen, embroideresses and myself.’

TSIGANOVA is a brand owed by Vika Tsiganova, Russian artist, fashion designer, singer and actress. Vika makes her pieces from natural fabrics (silk, wool) decorated with original embroidery in gold and silver, pearls, precious and semiprecious stones, beads. Their motifs are derived from classical Persian patterns combined with traditional Russian techniques.

Vika Tsiganova debuted as a designer in 2004 with a private show for a small group of friends at the Metropol Hotel. It took several years to complete the Imperial Style collection, and now Viktoria presents her own TSIGANOVA brand at the Russian Fashion Week.
