Presentation from TURBO YULIA was in format of mini-rave featuring the headliners of Skotoboynya parties. Designer Yulia grasps inspiration from rebel spirit and mass culture attributes. Rave style with its specific aesthetics that gains so much popularity at the moment became the theme for the new collection. Another jumping-off point was the urban phenomenon - capital repair of Moscow avenues. As the metaphoric bridge between Moscow realities was the assembly uniform with fluorescent insets. You can easily see a worker or a heavy raver wearing such clothes. Glinting metal, neon orange and green, yellow bands with the brand's name, the designer use all these attributes to create the new trendy uniform for youngsters.

Brand was started in 2012 by designer Yulia Makarova. Presented first collection of futuristic helmets, at Aurora Fashion Week 2013 in St. Petersburg. In 2014 «Dressing the screen: Russia» project curated by British Council Turbo_Yulia produced a fashion film, which is presented on the site SHOW studio. In 2014 was presented futuristic helmets end caps collection for Opening Ceremony in USA and Japan.  In 2015 we launch a plastic caps for Ria Keburia's collection. Brand collaborated with famous designers and performance artists Andrey Bartenev, Sasha Frolova ( Aquaaerobika) and Slava Polunin, and has created clothes for parties, scenes and commercials.

SLAVA ZAITSEV, Alena Akhmadullina, VIVA VOX, YASYA MINOCHKINA (the Ukraine), Julia Nikolaeva, Dasha Gauser, Julia Dalakian, PIROSMANI BY JENYA MALYGINA, YULIA PROKHOROVA BELOE ZOLOTO, IGOR GULYAEV, Goga Nikabadze (Georgia), DIMANEU, Saint-Tokyo, Outlaw Moscow, MASTERPEACE – these and many other designers whose names are already familiar to the fashion world present their collections at the runways of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia. Talented new-comers who are traditionally supported by Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia also demonstrate their works.  ‘Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia is a large professional event that meets all the requirements the fashion week might claim. For me personally the quality and convenient venue of the event are very important, and in this respect MBFW Russia is perfectly organized and well-coordinated! I enjoyed the participation in the Fashion Week and happy to use the opportunity to present my collection at the Russian market.
