Spring-Summer Season 2018 By Kazakhstan Designers

COLLECTIVE SHOW BY KAZAKHSTAN DESIGNERS SUPPORTED BY KAZAKHSTAN STATE PRESIDENTIAL PROGRAM SPIRITUAL RENAISSANCE AND KAZAKHSTAN FASHION WEEK

The first show opened with ONE-to-ONE collection. For the Spring/Summer 2018 season the brand's designers offer various flouncy open-back mini dresses showcasing asymmetrical cut, long oversize shirts with midi skirt, and pants suits with jackets and vests on a naked torso. The color palette features black, dark blue, light blue, and grey.

Aida KaumeNOVA collection combines Kazakhstan cultural themes and modern trends. The showcased looks unite refined ethnical prints and historical costumes detailing with sport cut and modern fabrics. A jacquard suit with embroidery, a bright-colored down coat and a long multicolored backing jacket over a lacework dress were displayed along with a sports suit and a bulk overcoat. A lacework top over a jumper, a velour bathrobe dress, and a coat with open shoulders were presented. Colors: pumpkin, light brown, emerald green, dark cerulean.

Dinara Satzhan showcases modern conceptual design. The brand uses European haute couture technique and ancient Kazakh embroidery, feather and color-usage method. The collection features a lacework dress with transparent bottom, pleated seam pants accompanied by an asymmetrical blouse, curtain lace capes and loose flouncy dresses, multilayered torn skirts and undercoats decorated with pearls. Color palette features black, white, pale pink.

Naiyl Baikuchukov has created the evening gowns collection: long dresses with skirts, tube dresses, mini-dresses with long trains, straight and cocktail gowns. His dresses are decorated with feathers and embroidered with crystals and paillettes. Silver color prevails in this collection, combined with light lilac inserts.

SLAVA ZAITSEV, Alena Akhmadullina, VIVA VOX, YASYA MINOCHKINA (the Ukraine), Julia Nikolaeva, Dasha Gauser, Julia Dalakian, PIROSMANI BY JENYA MALYGINA, YULIA PROKHOROVA BELOE ZOLOTO, IGOR GULYAEV, Goga Nikabadze (Georgia), DIMANEU, Saint-Tokyo, Outlaw Moscow, MASTERPEACE – these and many other designers whose names are already familiar to the fashion world present their collections at the runways of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia. Talented new-comers who are traditionally supported by Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia also demonstrate their works.  ‘Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia is a large professional event that meets all the requirements the fashion week might claim. For me personally the quality and convenient venue of the event are very important, and in this respect MBFW Russia is perfectly organized and well-coordinated! I enjoyed the participation in the Fashion Week and happy to use the opportunity to present my collection at the Russian market. Russian designers are lucky to be part of MBFW Russia and demonstrate their collections at the runway that can be fairly referred to as one of the best in the world’ - Giles Deacon, designer of Giles brand, participants of the 25th Season.
