March 8, 2018, Russian Couturier Valentin Yudashkin will present his spring-summer 2018 haute couture collection on the stage of the State Kremlin Palace.
This year, the Fashion House prepared for the International Women's Day not only the traditional fascinating festive show with participation of pop stars in scenic dresses made by the designer, but also an unusual gift for all admirers of the art of theater and painting.
The spring-summer collection of Valentin Yudashkin is dedicated to Russian theater artists of the early 20th century. It organically combines the innovative philosophy of modernists, the shocking avant-garde and the aesthetics of the Impressionists. Artistic expressiveness, plasticity and play of lines recreate the atmosphere of the magnificent ballet performances of the Diaghilev seasons.
The color scheme originates in theatrical scenery. Delicate watercolor shades of pale lilac, transparent blue, delicate pink and Indian green complement active accent colors: bright scarlet and wine-red, chocolate brown, Persian blue and charcoal black with blotches of shimmering gold and silver.
Lightness and airiness of dresses made of lace and organza and multi-tiered skirts resembling ballet tutus are followed by the architectural complexity of jackets and trouser suits of dense silk and taffeta. The collection is distinguished by a unique decor. Embroideries with beads and glass beads in various techniques adorn corsets and elongated jackets. The voluminous embroidery and feather furnish give a special refinement to summer coats.
Haute couture children's collection from the new line of Valentin Yudashkin kids will be presented for the first time.
