Dates of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia March: 30 - April 3.

217 Russian and foreign designers: classic, street wear, avant-garde, sport, casual will present their collections on three runways of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia.
From March 30 to April 3, guests of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia will see shows of young talents from around the world as part of the Global Talents project with the support of glo. Grant to participate in Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia was received by 9 foreign designers who will show their debut collections: JING YU and VANTA (Italy), IVETA VECMANE (Latvia), Anano D. Bakradze (Georgia), HARRIET ECCLESTON and KRISHMA SABBARWAL (United Kingdom ), ANNAISS YUCRA MANCILLA (Peru), RAHEL GUIRAGOSSIAN (Switzerland), RAP (Bangladesh). MBFW Russia is the first fashion week in the world, which will bring together designers from all over the world for their debut shows. This year glo will support the shows of young foreign designers.
The Global Talents project was implemented by the National Fashion Chamber with the participation of the Public Chamber of the Moscow Region and started in January 2019.

Fashion shows of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia will be held not only at the Manezh Central Exhibition Hall, but also at the Museum of Moscow - Alena Akhmadullina, TSUM - RUBAN, IEC “Fashion Museum” - Alexander Arutyunov.

Every day from March 30 to April 3 in the space of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia musical concerts will be held. In line-up: Linda, “Komsomolsk”, DJ Groove, SABI MISS, Pasha Rudenko (participant of the show “Songs” on TNT), Artem Kacher, DJs of the UMAKER school and others.

The POP-UP SHOP lecture hall, a temporary designer department store, first introduced in the fall of 2018, has become a full part of Fashion Week. Corner with clothing and accessories will be open daily from March 30 to April 3. Smart mirrors will work in the POP-UP SHOP fitting rooms. By clicking on the “smart mirror” screen, customers can in one click call the stylist-consultant or order the fitting room of the right size. Fashion Futurum Accelerator graduate Ksenia Hertz will show a collection made with the use of new technologies. Verisium chips are sewn into the clothing, which provide information about the product and brand, it can be viewed at any time using the application in the smartphone. Using chips, the designer calls to get rid of paper labels, which are cut off and immediately thrown away. In collaboration with Unichel, Pinatex shoes were developed made from recycled pineapple leaves.   This material has already been mastered by foreign brands supporting the idea of ​​a sustainable fashion, and it can become a full-fledged replacement for traditional raw materials.
An open street style for hype beasts from around the world. Everyday photographers are from, Highsnobiety, Hypebeast, Elle UK, Harper's Bazaar China. The stars of MBFW Russia Street Style were Heron Preston, Chiara Ferrany and many others.

The first members of the Expedition NHP, the students of the Italian fashion school Polimoda (Florence) and the HSE Design School (Moscow) will show a joint collection of clothing and interior items at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia, inspired by crafts, history and culture of Russia.
In late August - early September, students-designers of the best international fashion schools took part in the “Expedition NHP”. Young designers of the Italian fashion school Polimoda and the Russian school of design of the Higher School of Economics studied folk art crafts in 5 centers of their development in the cities of St. Petersburg, Semenov, Torzhok, Orenburg and in the Moscow Region. The subjects of study were Gzhel and Khokhloma paintings, gold embroidery, the manufacture of artistic porcelain products and the technique of creating the Orenburg downy shawl. Young designers got acquainted with the history of crafts, mastered the traditional production technique under the guidance of leading masters.
The Expedition of Folk Arts and  Crafts is a project of the National Chamber of Fashion and the Rustrends Foundation for the Development of Folk Arts and Crafts, implemented with the assistance of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia to support and develop the range of folk arts and crafts.
Among the participants of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia in the Manezh Hall are 169 new designers and 48 permanent: RED SEPTEMBER, OTOCYON, OKSANA FEDOROVA, YASYA MINOCHKINA, CHAPURIN, IGOR GULYAEV, HOVANSKIE, ALEXANDR ROGOV, RomaUvarovDesign, ASIYA BAREEVA, RABBITHOLE, AHRA, OSTOCYON,  etc.
