Ecotourism in Russia: Agrakhansky Reserve
The Terek River, going down from the northern slopes of the Caucasus for more than 600 km, flows into the Agrakhan Bay, forming a wide, muddy delta. The first record of the existence of the Caspian Gate refers to VI century BC, it can be found in the records of the famous Greek geographer Hecataeus of Miletus. The city known as Cholas from ancient and medieval sources was built on the place of the man site in about II century BC.


Double Blast in Makhachkala, 1 Dead, 60 Injured
On Thursday, two explosions set off in Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan Republic, near the Ministry of Home Affairs. 61 people were injured, one policeman was killed.
