New street signs that appeared on buildings in the centre of Moscow caused bewilderment of the city residents. Strange transliteration (writing names in Latin characters) stroke the eye. Improving The Capacity Of Moscow Streets
The Department for Competition Policy of Moscow selected the companies that should focus on improving the capacity of the streets in five administrative districts. The total amount of contracts makes up more than 870 million roubles: the money will be spent on arrangement of parking draw-ins, reconstruction of sidewalks, creating booster strips. All works must be finished before the end of 2014.
