BLUE ROSE of Silver Age
Blue Rose was a well-known and influential Symbolist art group named after the remarkable exhibition. Having made Neo-Primitivism its part and parcel, The Blue Rose came to be the forerunner of Russian Avant-garde art.
The World of Art (aka Mir Iskusstva) association founded in St. Petersburg in 1898 played a key role in the art of the Silver Age, especially Art Nouveau and Symbolism.
