Climbing Centers in Moscow for Children and Adults

It does not matter if you are an experienced mountaineer, a beginner or have seen the peaks going up only from the window of a tourist bus. Everyone can conquer a mountain. Climbing tracks in Moscow for children and adults is a great idea for a day off, as the whole family can be trained there.

Climbing centre RedPoint

If you have never tried climbing, it’s best to start in a group. There are special workouts. The height of the climbing wall is 12.5 meters. This is a unique construction - an “arch”, the only one on the territory of Moscow. Children will also be taught here - they are accepted to the climbing school from 7 to 15 years old.

WHERE: Vyatskaya st., 27, building 12 (in the building of the Zupre fitness club). The nearest metro station is Savyolovskaya.
WHEN: weekdays - from 9.00 to 23.00, weekends - from 9.00 to 22.00.
COST: a two-hour lesson in the group from 16.00 to 23.00 on weekdays and from 10.00 to 22.00 on weekends - 950 rubles, a two-hour lesson in the group on weekdays from 9.00 to 16.00 - 800 rubles.

Climbing centre GoClimb

You can climb here a small ( 4 meters) and a large climbing walls ( 12 meters),  and practice all kinds of Swedish walls. It is better to book your visit in advance by phone 8 (916) 311-77-52. This climbing wall in Moscow is for adults, but there is a children's section for climbers from 7 to 16 years old.

WHERE: Hospital Embankment, 4/2, SC Bauman MSTU, 4th floor. The nearest metro station is Baumanskaya.
WHEN: weekdays - from 19.00 to 21.30. Weekends – closed.
COST: 300 rubles, rental is paid separately (rocky shoes - 100 rubles, tying - 100 rubles, safety gear + 2 carbines - 50 rubles).

Climbing centre "Skalatoriya"

The main specialization of the climbing wall is bouldering (a type of climbing with series of short  interceptions on  extremely difficult tracks), but there are also routes with upper and lower insurance. Power skills are not enough, you still need to figure out how to climb, determine the sequence of movements that is suitable for you, so it is recommended to start with a coach.

WHERE: Letnikovskaya street, 4, building 2. The nearest metro station is Paveletskaya.
WHEN: Monday, Friday - from 15.00 to 23.00, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - from 8.00 to 23.00, Saturday, Sunday - from 10.00 to 22.00.
COST: for beginners, a lesson with a coach and equipment rental is 1100 rubles, for experienced climbers without a coach and equipment - 300 rubles till 17.00, 550 rubles after 17.00.

Climbing track "Extreme"

The height of the wall is 7 meters, this is enough for climbing with the upper and lower insurance. For experienced climbers there is ceiling climbing up to 15 meters long.  Children are allowed only with an instructor or parents. 

WHERE: Smolnaya street, 63B, 3rd floor. The nearest metro station is Rechnoy Vokzal. 
WHEN: weekdays - from 15.00 to 20.00, weekends - from 10.00 to 21.00.
COST: 900 rubles (with equipment and a trainer).

Climbing Centre World Gym

Climbing track is located in  the World Gym fitness complex. The wall here is 8 meters high and 4 meters wide.  All classes are held with an instructor. On Saturdays there are classes  for children from 6 to 13 years old.

WHERE: Dubininskaya St., 71. The nearest metro station "Tulskaya". 
WHEN: Monday, Tuesday - from 19.30 to 20.30, Thursday - from 19.30 to 20.30, Saturday - from 12.00 to 13.00.
COST: 750 rubles (with equipment and trainer).
