"Moskvarium" (the Center for Oceanography and Marine Biology in Moscow) is located on the territory of the Exhibition of Economic Achievements. The total area is 53,000 square meters.  Its basins and aquariums show more than 7000 marine inhabitants. Here you will find several species of sharks, octopuses, sea stars, skates, moray eels, colorful coral reef fish, hedgehog fish, freshwater fish, turtles, crocodile caimans, etc. The pools contain the main members - killer whales and dolphins.



Center for Oceanography and Marine Biology "Moskvarium" includes three large areas: an aquarium, a water stage, and a swimming center with dolphins. The center holds lectures, you can sign up for group excursions, and organize children's parties. The complex has several restaurants and cafes.

Oceanarium  

The aquarium at the Exhibition of Economic Achievements included in the Moscow Moskvarium complex covers an area of more than 12,000 square meters. Its exposure includes more than 80 aquariums and pools, and the total amount of water there is 3000 cubic meters. 
The walking halls of the oceanarium are decorated with thematic dummies. You can take pictures, and shoot sea creatures without flash. Entrance to the aquarium is open from 10.00 to 21.00. It closes at 22.00.

Water show  

The main hall is a water stage where shows are regularly held with the participation of dolphins, sea lions, killer whales, beluga whales and walruses. The hall is designed for 2300 seats for spectators.

Shows are held on schedule - two or three times a day, at 12.00, 15:00 and 18:00 or 11:00, 14:30, 18:00.



Swimming center with dolphins


This platform of the oceanographic complex includes seven swimming pools, where therapeutic and preventive classes are held - dolphin therapy sessions for children. It is also interesting to visit the Swimming Center with dolphins in an entertaining and informational format: individual, family, group swimming sessions are possible, and there are subscriptions. 

One of the novelties of this site is the “School of the Young Coach” for children who are 8-17 years old. The program includes a detailed acquaintance with the "Moskvarium", lectures, interactive classes - games with dolphins, swimming. The center has experienced coaches.



Ticket prices  


You can buy a ticket to Moskvarium at the box office or online. Below are the prices for visits.

Weekdays (Monday - Thursday): adult ticket - from 900 rubles, children’s (from 3 to 12 years old) - from 600 rubles.
On Friday, weekends, holidays: from 1000 rubles - adult, from 800 rubles - children.
When you visit a killer whale show, the price of a ticket to the aquarium is 500 rubles.
The ticket to the aquarium purchased on the official website is valid for 30 days.
