Moscow Skyscrapers: The “Moskva-City" Business Centre

How to get to the Moskva-City: You can go by metro from the stations “Vystavochnaya”, “Delovoy Tsentr”, “Mezhdunarodnaya”. It is also possible to take the bus No. 12 or 243 from the stops: “1st Krasnogvardeysky Proezd”, “Vystavochny Complex”, “Metro Vystavochnaya”, “2nd Krasnogvardeysky Proezd”, “Platforma Testovskaya”; as well as the bus No. 243 from the stops “1st Krasnogvardeysky Proezd, 21”, “Delovoy Tsentr Metro Station”, “Presnenskaya Embankment, 10”, “Most Bagration”, “Expocentre”. There is also an option to take a train from “Testovskaya” station.


The “Moskva-City" Business Centre is one of the main modern attractions of the capital. This is a district with skyscrapers built on the site of a former quarry near Presnenskaya Embankment. Now the approved project includes 23 objects, 13 of them have been erected. The number of floors in the buildings rangers from 6 to 95. The total area of Moskva-City amount to almost 100 hectares.

The Federation Tower, the highest tower of Moskva-City (the highest building in Moscow, 374 meters) is a multifunctional complex. Its construction has lasted for 12 years. A covered observation deck is located on the 89th floor.

The OKO Tower is the second tallest tower of the business centre. The construction was completed in 2016. The number of floors is 85. There is “Russky” restaurant with a panoramic view of the city on the 84th floor of the skyscraper. There is an open observation deck on the roof, as high as 354 meters from the ground.

The Mercury City Tower is a multifunctional centre, its height makes up 339 meters. This skyscraper is different from others in its gold color of glass and is considered to be the most recognizable building of the capital. 

The “Eurasia” Tower is a business centre 309 meters high. The floors of the tower are occupied by offices, shops, apartments and parking lots.

The “City of Capitals” Tower is a business centre consisting of two buildings: “Moscow” (76 floors) and “St. Petersburg” (69 floors).

The “Naberezhnaya” Tower is a business centre consisting of three towers: “A”, “B” and “C”. The height range is between 85 and 264 meters.

The “Empire” Tower is a business complex with public spaces, it was completed in 2011. Its highest point is located at an altitude of 239 meters.

The “Evolution” Tower is the most unusual of the skyscrapers of Moskva-City. Its shape resembles a DNA molecule.

The “IQ-quarter” Tower is a multi-level transport and terminal complex consisting of three buildings, two of which are filled with office spaces, parking lots, and the third one contains more than 200 apartments.

“Tower 2000” is the very first tower of Moskva City. The construction lasted from 1988 to 2001. It is the only building of the business centre located on the right bank of the river. It is connected with the rest of the skyscrapers by the closed pedestrian “Bagration” Bridge.

The “Northern” Tower contains offices, as well as a concert hall, a fitness centre, restaurants and cafes. It has the smallest number of floors – 27, as compared to other towers.

“AFIMALL City” Shopping & Entertainment Centre contains different kinds of entertainment for adults and children on six floors. The total area of “AFIMALL City” makes up 316832 square meters
