Best Salsa Parties in St. Petersburg

Salsa will always remain one of the most popular social dances.  Find out the best locations to enjoy salsa in St. Petersburg in our review.

1. Dance school "Casa Latina"

One of the most famous dance schools in St. Petersburg with high-class teachers, spacious rooms, magnificent panoramic views of the city center and regular parties. Salsa (as well as swing) is danced here, usually on Saturdays, from 21:00 until midnight. Entrance fee - 200 r.

Address: Sadovaya St., 28-30, Apraksin Dvor, Bldg. 1 (metro station "Nevsky Prospect", "Gostiny Dvor", "Admiralteyskaya").


2. Club BQ

The largest pair dance parties in the city from the Latinomania project are regularly held here. Salsa and bachata are danced here, usually on Sundays from 20:00 to 23:00. Entrance fee - 250-300 p. Parties are often themed and costumed, and in addition, Latinomania often organizes all kinds of interactive activities: here you can perform on stage with songs and dances, participate in various competitions, etc. From time to time, salsa and bachata in BQ can be danced on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Admission to some of these parties is free.

3. Restaurant "Vesyoly Barin"

Restaurant "Vesyoly Barin" is another platform from the "Latinomania". On the ground floor there is a restaurant with European dishes, and on the second floor there is a hall for regular parties. Parties are held on different days, most often on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Salsa discos are usually preceded by an hour-long master class from professional dancers. The cost of entry to the party is 200-250 r.

4. Danza Latina Parties at Las Torres Restaurant

There are weekly  latin-afro parties held at night where salsa, bachata, kizomba, and reggaeton are danced. Party venue - Spanish restaurant Las Torres with atmospheric interiors and fine Spanish wines. Parties take place every Saturday night - from midnight to 5:30 in the morning. Entrance fee -  from 250 rubles. For teachers of social Latin American and African dances, upon agreement, admission is free.

Address: Nevsky Prospect, 53 (metro Mayakovskaya).

5. Club "Chelsea"

Latina parties from the Salsita Dance School are regularly held here. You can dance on Thursdays and Sundays from 20:30 to 23:30. Entrance fee - 100 r. according to preliminary lists and 200 r. - when paying at the entrance.

6. Restaurant Ciao Bella

Stylish Italian restaurant, which recently launched the Friday salsa   parties. They are held from 21:00 to 0:00, the cost of entry is 250 rubles.
