St. Petersburg Parks: Babushkin Park of Culture and Leisure

Babushkin Park of Culture and Leisure (or Park of Fairy Tales) in St. Petersburg is adeciduous forest park of poplars and acacias, lindens and hazels, birches and lilacs, maples and rowan-trees. It covers an area of 14 hectares in Nevsky district.

Popular artists often exhibit their paintings here, and the guests take part in flash mobs on launching luminous balls. Follow the rich activities program and immerse in the atmosphere of magic! The variety of attractions is impressive.

“Fairy-tale Country” involves tunnels, sandboxes, skipping ropes, slides, stairs. The ticket is valid all day long. You can go home, then return and continue to have fun. “Sheriff” willmost likely appeal to young lovers of jeeps. Pedals, seat belts and mechanics – all set up in an adult way. “Stells” is a pair attraction for a young pilot and adult navigator or vice versa. A steering wheel, belts, takeoff; besides, no special skills are required. The lovers of fast drivingwill find powerful and easily controlled ATVs.

Extreme rides are suitable for adults and children over ten years old. If you are brave and courageous, come here! But it is worth considering that, alongside withage, height and weight are also important. A rope park is at your disposal:height, tree crowns and breathtaking adventures.

Carting is intended for the fans of Formula 1. Speed, roaring engine, helmets and difficult tracks.The ice rink in the “Fairy Tale Park” is open all year round: skate rental, skates sharpening, smooth ice and joyful music. Romantic night skating is often held there, besides, trainings for hockey players and skaters are also organized.

A special driving school is operating there. The attractions forsmall kids include animal cars, a “Vzhik” train, horse-drawn carousels and mini-cars. You will also find several cafes on the territory of the park.
