Wakesurfing is a type of classic surfing. The athlete also has a board to catch the wave. And the wave is created by a towing boat right in front of you. You get to the wave with the help of a tether, which is attached to the boat, then discard it and freely balance on the wave. Wakesurfing appeared in Russia about ten years ago, and only in 2016 it was included in the All-Russian register of sports. Here are some good spots to try wakesurfing in Moscow and the Moscow Region.
1. Wake People River Spot

Spot is located in a picturesque place on Lake Krugloye, just 18 kilometers from the Moscow Ring Road. The school is located on the territory of the Shore-house yacht club, not far from the Myakinino metro station. Students ride in the Stroginsky and Pavshinsky floodplain. The coaching staff advises booking in advance, as there are always a lot of people in the evening on weekdays and weekends. It is better to come with companies of no more than three or four people in order to learn as comfortably as possible. There are no age restrictions at RiverSurfMoscow: the youngest athlete at school is 7 years old, the oldest is over 70.

One of the oldest wake clubs in Moscow, Wake Home has been operating on Myakininsky Highway since 1998. The club has a well-maintained infrastructure: parking, hot shower and dressing room, and a restaurant.
