Visa Centers of European Countries in Russia will Change their Work Schedule for the New Year Holidays

Visa centers (VC) and consulates of European countries in Russia will change their work schedules due to the celebration of Christmas and New Year.

Austria


The Austrian Embassy will be opened on December 24 only for the issuance of passports, visa centers in Moscow and the regions will operate normally. From December 25 to 26, the embassy does not work, visa centers are open. On New Year's Eve, on December 30 and 31, the Austrian Embassy and the VC  are closed for filing documents, only the issuance of passports is possible. From January 1 to January 8, diplomatic missions will not work.

Belgium

The Belgium   Visa Application Center in Moscow will be closed for submission of documents from January 1 to January 7, 2020. On January 8, it will work as usual. The Embassy of Belgium in the Russian Federation does not work on December 25, and also from January 1 to 8, inclusive.

Bulgaria

The last day for applying for a visa to Bulgaria in 2019 is December 20. The Consulate of Bulgaria in the Russian Federation is closed from December 24 to 26, the Visa Application Center operates as usual, and from December 23 to 31 it will only issue passports. From January 1 to January 8, the VC and the consulate are closed.

Great Britain


UK Visa Application Centers throughout Russia will be closed December 25-26 and January 1-7, 2020.

Hungary

Citizens who intend to get  visas to Hungary before the end of the year should  apply to the VC in Moscow until December 17 inclusive, and in St. Petersburg by December 20.  Applications submitted later will be considered after January 8, 2020.

Germany

The German Embassy in Moscow is closed on Christmas Eve - December 24, the Visa Application Center is operating normally. On  December 25 and 26, VC and the embassy are closed. The embassy does not work even on December    31 as well.

Greece

Greece visa centers in Moscow and the regions will be closed on December 25-26, and also on January 1 and 5, 2020.

Denmark


The Danish Exhibition Center in Moscow is closed from December 24 to December 31.

Iceland

From December 24 to December 31, the Iceland Visa Application Center in Moscow is closed.

Spain

Spain Visa Application Centers in Moscow and the regions will not work on December 24-25 and 31, as well as on January 1, 2020, January 6 and 7.

Italy

Italy Visa Application Centers are closed from December 25 to 26, as well as January 1.

Lithuania

The Lithuanian Visa Application Center in Moscow accepts documents until December 19, inclusive, if it is necessary to obtain a visa by the end of 2019. Those who apply later will receive visas after January 9th. December 31 is the last day of receiving documents at the visa center in Moscow. From January 1 to January 8, the VC  in Moscow will be closed.

Latvia

According to the data on the Pony Visa website, the last day for applying for a visa to Latvia is December 17 (if you plan to get it before the end of 2019). In all regional offices, the last day  is December 9th.

Cyprus

The Cyprus Embassy in Moscow does not work on December 25-26, and also on January 1, 6 and 7.

Netherlands

The Netherlands Visa Application Center will be closed from December 25 to 26 and January 1.

Norway

From January 1 to January 8, 2020, all visa application centers of Norway are closed. Visa documents submitted to the VC in Moscow on December 31, 2019 will be submitted to the Kingdom Consulate in the Russian Federation on January 9, 2020.

Poland

December 18 is the last day of receiving documents at the Poland Visa Application Center in Moscow. From December 19 to December 31, the VC works only for the issuance of   documents; it is closed on Saturday and Sunday.   The diplomatic mission is closed from January 1 to January 8.

Portugal

The Embassy of Portugal in Moscow is working on a limited basis on December 24, and is closed on the 25th, the visa centers are operating as usual. From January 1 to January 8, Portuguese visa application centers in Moscow and the regions are closed for submitting and receiving documents.

Slovakia

The Slovak Visa Application Center in Moscow will be closed from December 24 to 26.

Slovenia

The Slovenian Visa Center will not work on December 25 and 26. From January 1 to January 8, 2020 all visa centers are closed for receiving and issuing documents.

Finland

Finland Visa Application Center is closed on December 6 in connection with the celebration of Independence Day, as well as December 24-26.

Czech Republic

The Czech Embassy in Moscow will not work on December 24-26, the Visa Center in the capital and regions on these dates, as well as on December 30-31, will only work on the issuance of   passports.

Croatia

Croatia Visa Application Center in Moscow is closed on December 25 and 26.

Switzerland

The Swiss Visa Application Center   is closed for submission of documents from January 1 to January 7, 2020. On January 8, the VC will operate normally. The Swiss Embassy in the Russian Federation is closed from December 24 to 26, and also on December 31.

Sweden

Sweden visa centers in Moscow and the regions will be closed on December 24-26 and December 31, 2019.

Estonia

On December 24-26 and 31, visa application centers in Estonia only issue passports, and from January 1 to 8 they will be closed.
