Valentine's day in Moscow: where to go?

According to statistics, 34% Russians are going to celebrate today. They are mainly students, housewives and officials. The shops are full of read hearts and pink stuff to provide gifts for them. When flowers, teddy bears and greeting cards are bought, there is a question coming up: where to go? Moscow restaurants and hotels follow the shops and invent special offers for St. Valentine's day to provide you romantic fabular night. But before the restaurants, if you happen in Moscow on February, 14, we recommend you to go skating a deux: this is a very romantic and specific Russian idea for St. Valentine's day.

Eating out
Moscow cafes and restaurants have invented different offers for any taste and budget. Most eating facilities have special design on this day. The couples reserved a table in the cafe of "Stary Telegraf" will get heart-type cookies, Starbucks cafes themselves will confess their love to visitors: the stuff will take snaps of guests and then make a photo exhibition. Usual suspects will find their faces in heart-shaped frames. A big red heart with stickers for valentines card will be seen today Starbucks. Moreover, hearts will appear on the cups.



Special offer for today is candy with prediction in it. Regular customers will get a present: piece of soap with a coffee bean.

French cuisine cafe Jean-Jacques will offer accordion concert and lottery with a price - 2-days tour to Paris for two persons.

Hotel
Hotel accommodation is actual not only for the guests of the Russian capital, but for city residents who decided to spend this night without household cares. Holiday Inn Moscow Sushevsky offers night in the hotel with late check-out hour at 15.30. Flute of sham or wine, strawberries with chocolate in the room, romantic dinner and luxury breakfast are called to provide the guests unforgettable time.     Skating

    The young couples are usually noticed on the skating rinks, hand in hand. Skating in Moscow is represented by plenty of rinks, cheap, expensive and free. Skating rink of Sokolniki is free on weekdays, one in Gorky park costs 150 rubles. Musik, mulled wine and iced sculptures glowing in fairy lights, finally, joy of motion after a day in office or at the university creates fairy romantic atmosphere and is to be recognized the best idea for St. Valentine's day on a budget.
