Devil's dozen luxury hotels in Moscow center

Moscow has been called the most expensive hotel city in the world. So, there are minimum two categories of expensive hotels in the Russian capital: bad expensive hotels and luxury hotels. First category is not an interesting thing. Services in luxury hotels cost their unreal money. Some of them have long history. There are 13 luxury hotels in the center of Moscow for those who takes metro just for fun.

1. ARARAT PARK HYATT MOSCOW. This state-of-the-art hotel is notable for exclusiveness, individual attention to every guest and of services quality, of course. The hotel is situated next door to Bolshoi and Maly Theaters, not far from the Red Square. Famous Moscow shop of TSUM is situated in front of the hotel, promising fantastic shopping. Address of the hotel is Neglinnaya, 4.

2. HOTEL BALTSCHUG KEMPINSKI MOSCOW stands on the bank of Moscow river. It fully corresponds with 5 Star category in rooms and services, although it was built in 1905. It has view on Moscow Kremlin and St. Basil's cathedral, maybe the most richly designed building of Old Russia. Baltschug Kempinski has taken Russian and international prices the area of tour industry. Address of the hotel is: Baltschug Street, 1.

3. GOLDEN RING hotel is a glowing futuristic construction in front of Stalin skyscraper of Russian Foreign Ministry and Expo center trade mart. That's why businessmen like it. Moreover, Golden Ring is situated in 3 minutes walk from Stary Arbat street, one of the main Moscow attractions. Golden Ring is situated on Smolenskaya Street, 5.

6. MARIOTT ROYAL AURORA HOTEL, maybe not so luxurious but more quiet, is surrounded with old mansions. Bolshoi Theater is next door, after 10 minutes walk down pretty old streets you get to the Red Square. Hotel is notable for thet it is pet-friendly, instead of most Moscow hotels. You should indicate if you have one with making your reservation. Address: Peterovka Street, 11/20/

7. METROPOL hotel is proud of its rooms full of antique things. Furniture is saved from early 20th century. Old-fashioned luxury is combined with everything corresponding with modern comfort standards. This hotel is mentioned in Bulgakov's novel "Master and Margarita" as a metaphor for Luxury. 8. NATIONAL is one of the most prestigious hotels in Moscow with the best views on Kremlin, Manezhnaya Square, Alexandrovsky Garden. Moreover, National is federal monument of architecture and history. Among its guests was last Russian tsar Nikolay II, the hotel was the first House of the Soviets, and Vladimir Lenin lived here. Address is Mokhovaya 15/1, building 1.

9. RITZ-CARLTON is notable for its service level, that's why politicians and world selebrities choose it. Among them are Barak Obama, Hillary Clinton, Hugh Grant. 10. RADISSON ROYAL HOTEL MOSCOW. This is new name for UKRAINE HOTEL since 2010. It occupies one of Moscow Seven Sisters skyscrapers and affects its huge sizes and scales. 11. SAVOY. This historical hotel is small, in the contrast with Stalinist megalomania of the previous one. It stands in the heart of old Moscow, near Kremlin, theatres, shops and clubs. Savoy is representing Moscow lifestyle, combining almost century-old traditions of hospitality and state-of-the-art services. Savoy is the first Russian hotel having become a member of hotel group "Small Luxury Hotels of the World". Moscow Savoy, also called boutique hotel stays in Rozhdestvenka, 3/6, building 1.

12. SWISSHOTEL KRASNYE HOLMY is a modern 5 Star Moscow hotel in 7 minutes walk from Paveletsky Railway station, connecting Moscow with Aeroport Domodedovo with Aeroexpress trains. Its address is Kosmodamianskaya emb., 52, building 6.

13. SHERATON PALACE HOTEL MOSCOW is also situated in Tverskaya Street, but closed to Belorussky Railway terminal when to Kremlin. Belorussky railway terminal connects Moscow with airport Sheremetyevo and with such European cities as Berlin, Paris and more recently Nice. It is situated in the street of Tverskaya-Yamskaya, 19.
