Create Russian Porcelain Souvenirs

The museum porcelain workshop is the newest museum opened in 2011 in the ancient Desyatinny monastery near the Novgorod Kremlin. Its principles include the ancient craft adjoined by advanced interactive technologies, education and entertainment.

You can visit the museum workshop with your family or send children on a school trip there. Visitors return home with the new knowledge of the history of porcelain and with the souvenirs made by their own hands. The basis of the museum is the famous porcelain factory of the Kuznetsov family “The Partnership for Production of Porcelain and Faience Products”. The family already owned nineteen plants in 1898 when the merchant Ivan Emelyanovich Kuznetsov rebuilt the porcelain factory on the Volkhov River.

The cost of the visit

Individual visit: children up to 14 years - 50 roubles, adults - 100 roubles.
Group visits: for groups of 1 to 6 people: pupils and students - 50 roubles, adults - 100 roubles plus 500 roubles for group excursion service, regardless of the number of persons; for groups of 7 to 25 people: pupils and students - 100 roubles, adults - 150 roubles.

Master-classes and excursions: “Novgorod souvenir” master-class at the museum porcelain workshop: for groups of 1 to 6 people: pupils and students - 150 roubles, adults - 200 roubles plus 500 roubles for group excursion service, regardless of the number of persons; for groups of 7 to 15 people: pupils and students - 150 roubles, adults - 200 roubles.

“Novgorod souvenir” master-class at the museum porcelain workshop plus a walking tour of Desyatinny monastery with a group of 16 to 30 people or “Novgorod souvenir” master-class at the museum porcelain workshop plus the excursion “From Cathedral to Cathedral” with a group of 16 to 30 people: pupils and students - 200 roubles, adults - 250 roubles.

Special offer “Take Your Family to the Museum on Weekends”: every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: adults - 60 roubles, children under 18 - free of charge. Free individual visits for museum employees: preferential individual visit:  50% of the cost for the citizens of Russia;  pre-school children, orphans - 25 roubles; pensioners, veterans of all wars, disabled people, members of creative unions, military men passing military service - 50 roubles.
