Plan Your Trip To Syzranskaya Hydropower Plant
December 11, 2015 17:13

Syzranskaya HPP is a symbol of its era: it was the first in a series of similar power plants commissioned according to the plan for national economic recovery and development, and it is the only one that has survived until our days in its original operating state.

You can get to the turbine hall of the HPP, to the museum and to dam only within the framework of a tour.

You must first agree your visit with the operating organization “Syzranskaya City Electrical Network”.

You must write an application for a tour, provide a list of surnames of the tour group members, specify the desired date and contact details of the group leader. If the visitors are children, you need to specify the accompanying person.

The number of visitors is not limited, but an optimal group consists of 15-20 people - the hall of the HPP is small.

The application can be sent by e-mail, fax or by courier to the office of the Syzranskaya City Electrical Network. Contacts are listed in the reference section.

The administration of the HPP considers applications both from legal and the physical persons, at this, the answer - probably positive one – will be given on the next day. Today the tours are free. Be prepared for the noise in the turbine hall of the hydropower plant because of the operating turbines. You cannot pass from one bank of Syzranka to another by the dam - the passage is closed.
