Travel Tips For Dune Efa Trip
March 17, 2016 14:41

It is required to be issued by one-time pass for a person and separately for a vehicle in order to enter the territory of national park of Curonian Spit.

This document can be obtained at the checkpoint of the park. Day Pass for entry will cost RUB 250.

It is officially prohibited to walk on the dunes - each step generates a real avalanche, and tons of sand crumble into the bay.

Tourist Trail is nailed together from wooden planks. Be careful, these boards are rotted, broken and are staggering here and there. Furthermore, they are quite slippery after rain.

The weather is very changeable on the Curonian Spit, as all over the Kaliningrad region. As Kaliningrad citizens say, if you do not like the weather, wait for five minutes. If you like it, they say the same. Therefore be prepared for anything and bring your raincoat or umbrella with you even if the sun is shining.
