A spa vacation is still perceived by a significant number of Russians and tourists as a standard of healthy and balanced leisure.  In recent decades, the developed base of the Soviet recreation complex has been successfully transferred to a new level of service standards close to global ones.    

The location of the main centers of spa holidays is very attractive: the coast of the Baltic Sea, the Moscow Region and Central Russia,as well as the Stavropol Territory and the Black Sea coast. There are many historical and natural attractions and a favorable climate there.

Sanatoriums of the North-West of Russia

Sanatoriums in the northwestern part of Russia are mostly located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland. Here,   the first resorts of Russia began to appear - one of them, the Karelian “Marcial Waters”, has been successfully operating to this day. Thanks to Peter the Great, the healing Polyustrovskie springs were discovered.
