While the country's main exhibition is temporarily closed for guests, you can take a walk around the pavilions and watch educational videos online.

The Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy (VDNKh) has launched a series of video excursions, as well as online workshops and lectures.  The Cosmonautics and Aviation Center, Moskvarium, Tekhnograd, the Slovo Writing Center, the Worker and Collective Farm Pavilion and other significant sites take part in the project.

While the exhibition area, along with other city spaces, is temporarily closed to visitors, VDNKh can be visited via its pages on social networks and official website.

Now you can take part in tours of the pavilions of the main exhibition of the country without leaving your home. During video walks, they talk about the territory of VDNKh in the early 1940s, when the Cosmos pavilion appeared.
The guide tells about pioneers in space exploration and what difficulties they had to face, about the technical equipment of the first satellites and space stations. During broadcasts from Moskvarium, netizens will find out how  sharks, moray eels, piranhas and stingrays are treated. And the live broadcasts of the Technograd Center  will explain how to separate work and household chores during quarantine.

A series of online tours of the exhibition pavilions, which will be conducted by professional guides, has been prepared. Two of them can be seen live on the VDNKh page on the Odnoklassniki social network. Records of all online excursions will be posted on the VDNKh website and on its pages on social networks after the broadcasts are over.

In addition, VDNKh has prepared short excursions dedicated to exhibits from the collection of the exhibition. Video tours will be published on the pages of VDNKh on social networks with the hashtag #ÝêñïîíàòÂÄÍÕ (#ExponatVDNKh). For example, in the videos about the exhibits of the center of Slavic writing, the Slovo will show a Russian medieval temple, a tree of alphabets and birch bark letters, while the Cosmonautics and Aviation center - a full-size model of the Mir orbital station, a moon rover and a powerful RD-170 rocket engine.

On the pages of VDNKh and the Slovo Center on Instagram you can watch educational cartoons, videos about the history of used and lost letters of the Russian alphabet, and in the media library of the VDNKh museum you can study digitized archival documents and photographs from the VDNKh funds.

Chefs of restaurants and cafes located on the territory of VDNKh will teach you how to cook various dishes, for example, funchose and pasta with tomato and basil. Master classes are placed on Odnoklassniki, indicating the hashtag #ÐåöåïòûÂÄÍÕ  (#RecipesofVDNKh) for ease of search.

And via YouTube it will be possible to follow the life of the inhabitants of Moskvarium at VDNKh.  Feeding of sharks, moray eels, piranhas, stingrays and other exotic fish is shown on the channel of the aquarium. Everyone will be able to observe the training of Baikal seals and Asian clawless otters recently settled in the Moskvarium.

I
n addition, informative videos of leading ichthyologists, aquarists and divers are waiting for users of social networks. Experts will talk about the diet of the inhabitants of Moskvarium, their daily routine and the characteristics of their relationships with people.

You can watch the life of the City Farm at VDNKh on the  page on Instagram. For example, they will post a video on how Cameroonian goats are fed. And at the workshops of the school of glass they will teach how to make a brooch, pendant, picture or bead from glass with your own hands. Video lessons will be held by artist Lyudmila Chernikova on her page on Instagram. Master classes will be released on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 14:00.

During the online trainings of the career development, the center of the Tehnograd innovative educational complex will tell how to properly separate work and household in quarantine and organize a workspace at home. Webinars are held every day on the pages of Technograd on the social networks Instagram, Vkontakte and Facebook. Schedules are published there.

In connection with the spread of coronavirus infection, many institutions in the city were temporarily closed. Museums, galleries, libraries and cultural centers have prepared an extensive online program for their visitors. You can go on virtual tours, see exhibitions, recordings of concerts and interviews with famous people.

And the capital committee on tourism, along with the cultural sites of the city, opened a special online project #Ìîñêâàñòîáîé (Moscow is with you). You can find out about the permanent and temporary exhibitions of various museums online  and learn more about art.

The main exhibition of the country also invites Muscovites to take part in the creation of a national online exhibition. Anyone can replenish the virtual collection of the VDNKh museum - a media library. Several thousand documents related to the 80-year history of the exhibition have already been collected in the public electronic archive.
