Retro train "Ruskeala Express" in Karelia will resume running from May 30. It will go from Sortavala to the Ruskeala mountain park.
The retro-train number 921/922 will leave from Sortavala station at 10:40 and arrive in the park at 11:50. The train will leave from the mountain park at 17:30, arriving at Sortavala station at 18:35. The seating arrangement will be introduced in the retro-train, taking into account the social distance. From Moscow to the Ruskeala mountain park it would be possible to get from May 29 to June 25 by a direct train. A non-stop car with a Moscow - Ruskeala connection will run from May 29 to June 25, 2020 on the trains No. 159/160 Moscow - Petrozavodsk and the Ruskeala express train No. 921/922 Sortavala-Ruskeala.
Departing from the Leningradsky train station in Moscow at 16:00, train No. 160 will arrive in Sortavala at 6:34 the next day and then continue going to the Ruskeala mountain park as part of the Ruskeala express train. From Ruskeala, passengers will leave at 17:30 as part of a retro-train. Upon arrival in Sortavala at 18:35 the cars will be hooked to the train No. 159 Petrozavodsk - Moscow. Arrival in Moscow is scheduled at 10:16 the next day.

A visit to the park is possible in compliance with all sanitary requirements. Visiting is possible only in personal protective equipment: masks and gloves. It is required to maintain a social distance of 1.5 meters. Sightseeing tours of the Marble Canyon Park and the Road of Mountain Masters, as well as Underground Ruskeala, are available for tour groups up to 10 people. Cafe "Summer" is open. Museum "The Abode of Angels" and the park "Secret Paths of the Earth KALEVALA" are available for visitors. Souvenir shops in the mountain park are open. Visiting the park is possible for individual tourists and passengers of the Ruskeala express train. Extreme park services are not available for visitors.
