The Patriarshiy Garden contains a unique collection of plants and trees from around the world. Of course, the garden cannot boast of versatile variety - from tropical flowers to lichen: only those plants that have adapted to the Central Russian severe weather survive in the open. However, the staff of the Patriarshiy Garden claim that they managed to create a special microclimate on the three hectares of land. In any case, thanks to their diligent work, a blooming oasis lives and develops in the centre of the industrial city.

The garden has also a greenhouse with heat-loving and rare plants - tropical flowers bloom here in winter. You can walk in the Patriarshiy Garden both with a guide and on your own. The excursions are lively and interesting. Do not be afraid of Latin names or boring lectures about the habitats from the school course of Botany; instead you will be shown Stalin’s favorite flowers, learn to quickly identify the most delicious cherries and know how to make an elegant flower bed of garbage. You can arrange a wedding photo shoot in the Patriarshiy Garden, and even get married (you should specify in the civil registry office if it is legal). All of these can be arranged for an extra fee.

The pavilions have sockets, so you can recharge your laptop or mobile phone if necessary. Almost all the seasonal fruits and berries are environmentally clean and grown with love in the Patriarshiy Garden, and you can immediately buy them. The prices and names are given in the price list which you see at the cash register and on the stands in the garden.
