The interactive tourist and gastronomic map of Moscow Oblast will be presented at the First International “Russian Taste” Festival of Moscow Oblast held on October 11-12 in the exhibition centre “Crocus Expo”, as the press service of the Advisor of the Governor of Moscow Oblast for Culture, Tourism and Sport Igor Chaika reports.
“The map will be formed in front of the audience, and everyone who has ever traveled through Moscow Oblast will be able to take direct part in this action. One will be able to find generous investors, reliable business partners, natural products for gastronomy, as well as to offer their own unique ideas for development of tourist routes in the weekend capital” - the press service quoted the words of Igor Chaika.
The report notes that the existing traditional cuisines, innovative ideas for tourism development, tours to estates and farms of the region - all this will be found on the Gastronomic Map of the Moscow Oblast. According to I. Chaika, a special site at the festival will be assigned to ecotourism.
“This is one of the most popular trends in the world, and we also associate high expectations with it, designing a program of tourism development in Moscow Oblast” - he noted. In the opinion of I. Chaika, the farms participating in the First International Gastronomic Festival of Moscow Oblast may be interesting to people as they are: as the suppliers of environmentally friendly products for suburban hotels, restaurants or cafes.
“Moscow Oblast cannot boast of variety of this kind of eco restaurants so far, but we hope to change the situation for the better very soon. The development of the interactive gastronomic map of Moscow Oblast will also contribute to this” - Interfax quotes the words of the Advisor.
