The application “A Journey through Russia” appeared in the AppStore. The application is available for free download. The guide is designed as an electronic assistant for travelers in both Russian and English, where one can get the information about the tourism objects, tourist routes and the events in the regions.
The first application pool contains the information about 28 regions of Russia, this list of “pioneers” includes Khakassia, the news agency “Khakassia Inform” reported. The application contains the information on 45 objects of Khakassia.
The guide has the function of determining the user location and can help the tourists to get to the region’s attractions of interest. The application has the descriptions and the coordinates of the open-air museums “Khurtuyah Tas” and “Kazanovka”, Bolshoy Salbyksky burial mound and the museum “Ust-Sos”, Uybatsky chaatas and Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP, as the press service of the State Committee for Tourism of Khakassia reports.
The program can lay a route to the Ivanitsky’s House and the unique monuments of rock art - Boyarskaya, Maloarbatskaya and Sulekskaya petroglyphs. The application also contains the information on the lakes of Khakassia and the areas of the “Khakassky” Reserve. And this is not the complete list of objects. In addition, the application has the information about the most important cultural events of the region: national holidays “Toon Pairam” and “Chyl Pazy”, as well as the international eco-ethnic Festival of Puppet Theatres “Chir Chayaan”, and the international cultural tourism forum “Siber Il”.
The developers emphasize - the access to the application is available even without an Internet connection, which is important, given the vast territory of Russia, where the access to the mobile Internet is not available in some places.
The application “A Journey through Russia” was developed by “Appreal” (a member of the Russian Tourist Union) together with the Non-Profit Partnership “The National Association of Information and Tourist Organizations” with the support of the Federal Agency for Tourism. In a month later the developers plan to release a version of the application for devices running on the Android OS.
