School Of Tourism In the South Of Kamchatka

In the south of Kamchatka the School of tourism for local residents is opened, according to the website of the Kronotsky Biosphere Reserve.

The educational program is designed for residents of villages bordering with the South Kamchatka Federal Reserve. They acquire the skills of conducting the excursions and will actively participate in the development of ecological tourism in the specially protected and adjacent areas. Social project "School of tourism in the south of Kamchatka" was one among 502 winners for the issuing of the President's grants for non-profit non-governmental organizations. In total 3984 applications were submitted from all over the country.

The grant for the implementation of social project has been received by an autonomous non-profit organization "Osobaya Territoriya”, the general partner is acted as FGBI "Kronotsky State Nature Reserve". "We have developed the educational programs for tour guides, youth guides and entrepreneurs working in the field of tourism and hospitality, made a lesson plan and master classes designed for different categories of people, including teenagers and young people - the words of the chief of department of ecological education of Kronotsky Reserve, Anna Chernikova, are cited on the site. Now a list of trainees is drawn up from entrepreneurs and citizens who are interested in the creation of tourist business.
