January 12, 2018 17:18

The authorities of the Tula region will support the Tula Harmonica Factory to enter the international market and attract tourists to the region, the region's head Alexei Dumin said during a visit to the company on Friday.

The governor got acquainted with the production cycle, inspected the finished products - professional, children's and souvenir accordions, the press service of the regional government reports. "Tula harmonica" is the only large enterprise in Russia where a hollow cycle of production of reed instruments for amateurs, pupils and professionals is presented. At a meeting with the team, the governor discussed the company's participation in industrial tourism programs: often tourists come to the factory to see the production of one of the historical brands of Tula.

"The Tula harmonica is the same brand as the gingerbread and the samovar, it needs development and access to the international platform," A.Dyumin said. In addition, since 2017 the company, in cooperation with Petrof (Czech Republic), has established a large-scale assembly of the piano with their subsequent tuning for delivery to music schools.

Earlier it was reported that the Tula Harmonica factory would be included in the tourist routes of the Tula region as part of the development of domestic and incoming tourism. At present, the enterprise is the custodian and the continuer of the traditions of creating harmonics. In production workshops, you can gradually see the process of creating and tuning famous musical instruments. "Tula harmonica" produces more than 50 products. This is one of the largest enterprises in Russia producing harmonics and accordions.
