January 16, 2018 12:08

Two new offices Visit Russia will open in Finland, and the current office changes the address and operator, the press service of the organization said on Monday. "Today, a new office in the city of Lappeenranta will start operating - it is an important transport hub that serves passengers traveling from Scandinavia to Western Europe, as well as to Russia. In addition, the first Visit Russia office in Finland will continue operating at the new address, now it is located in Helsinki opposite the Russian consulate," the report said.

According to the organization, the opening of the third office is scheduled for February 2018. The Tourist Office will work at the Helsinki railway station, where a large number of guests from Europe are concentrated. As reported in Visit Russia, offices are opened by attracting the resources of Finnish tour operators interested in developing cooperation with Russia. In each of them information services for fans and guests of the World Cup 2018 will be provided.

"Finland is one of the priority areas for the promotion of the Russian tourist potential and is one of the countries that provides the largest inbound tourist flow to Russia," the organization notes.
