The Worlds Highest Mountain Football Park will Open at the Rosa Khutor Resort

The world’s highest mountain football park will open at the “Rosa Khutor” Resort, at an altitude of 560 meters above the sea level, on June 14.

According to the press service, “Rosa Khutor” jointly with the club of Russian national team fans titled “Russia Unites” will turn the resort into the main place for the fans of the game in Sochi during the World Cup 2018. The fans will be able to see live broadcasts of matches on a huge screen and to listen to live post-match game discussions with the participation of Georgy Cherdantsev in the Mountain Football Park. A popular shoutcaster will also present his new book titled “The History of World Championships” at “Rosa Khutor”. It is also planned to hold competitions in table football, a massive race in support of the Russian national team with the participation of media persons, and many things more in the Football Park.

The mountain football park will work at the “Rosa Khutor” Resort until July 15. It is planned to hold four qualifying groups matches in Sochi, at the “Fisht” Olympic Stadium: Portugal – Spain on June 15; Belgium-Panama on June 18; Germany-Sweden on June 23; Australia-Peru on June 26. Then the stadium will host a match of the round of last 16 (on June 30) and a match of the round of last 8 (July 7).
