The beach of the “Rosa Khutor” Resort at the Imereti Valley in Sochi was awarded an environmental certificate of quality - a “blue flag”, as the press service of the resort reported.
The “Blue Flag” is an international prize awarded to environmentally clean beaches, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and guaranteeing high water quality.
In 2017 the “Blue Flag” marked 3.6 thousand beaches and 677 harbors in 45 countries. The leader of the ranking was Spain. Earlier in April, the sea beach in the village of Yantarny, Kaliningrad Oblast was awarded a “blue flag” the third consecutive time. “The equipped beach of Rosa Khutor on the Black Sea coast at the Imereti Valley will open on June 1. The guests of the resort will be able to reach it on regular free buses”, as the press service specified.
