How to Get to Vnukovo Airport

Vnukovo International airport (IATA code VKO) is the oldest one in Moscow. It is situated 28 km westwards from the centre of Moscow, so it is the nearest one to the city, moreover, it it very easy to get. Three highways, Aeroexpress high-speed train, buses and shuttles are at your service. Vnukovo is ACI (Airports council international) Europe member and it is inclined to become a leading Moscow's hub and transit centre between Europe and Asia. Among Vnukovo's advantages are geographic location: it lies on a highland, and that is offers an advantage under low weather conditions, especially fogs. Vnukovo's geographic location gives an advantage for air carriers making flights from the west and south.

Aerodrome complex of Vnukovo handles flights of Vnukovo-1 passenger complex including Terminals D and B, Vnukovo-2 government-owned terminal and Vnukovo-3 terminal for business aviation. The passenger terminal of VKO consists of Terminal D for international flights and B for domestic ones.

Terminal B includes three levels. On the Level 1 are situated: Check-in desks, airport customs room and baggage dispensing. The Level 2 includes arrival lounge. Passport Control Booth is also to be foud here. The Level 3 deals with departing passengers correspondingly. It is provided with Passport Control Booth as well. 
The Terminal is equipped with elevators, travellator and escalators and ramps for disabled people as well.

Terminal D deals with domestic flights only and includes 2 levels. Level 1 includes check in desks and baggage points. Arrival lounge Internet-cafe, telephones, ticket office are also situated here. Level 2 is occupied with departure gate.
