A new six-lane bridge with impressive intersections leading to the stadium was erected to replace the old Voroshilovsky bridge during the construction of the “Rostov Arena” stadium. The huge area around the arena has been turned into a large park with a quay longer than one kilometer. The territory of the park has a beach, playgrounds, benches, and, which is also important, public toilets. The total area of the park makes up about 16 hectares. This will be the largest and most certainly the most modern park in Rostov. It cost almost 600 million roubles.

The park area is divided into two zones: sport zone and quiet zone. The sports zone has playgrounds for volleyball, badminton, training complexes. In the quiet zone you can walk, sit on a bench and read a book under the rustle of willows and poplars, admire the colorful flower beds with carefully chosen flowers.

During the World Cup the Rostov Arena will hold matches of the group stage and the round of last 16. After the championship games, the arena with 45,000 seats will be transferred to the local “Rostov” football club.

Address:
2B Levoberezhna Street, Rostov-on-Don.
