How to Read the Russian Railways Ticket

It is not easy to read Russian Railways tickets if you don't speak Russian. We have tried to provide some explanations to make it simple.
 
 
First line

126 4A 24.06 22.00 17P 000302.6 000185.6 01 FULL
 
  • service number of the train;
  • date and time of departure of the train;
  • number of the car and its type;
  • ticket price and reserved seat;
  • number of people;
  • the name of the document ("full" when buying a ticket for the full cost).
 
 
Second line

CHEREPOV 1 - MOSCOW YAR (2010290-2000002) KL.OBSL. 3P
  • names of departure and destination stations, abbreviated to 12 characters;
  • seven-digit codes of departure and destination stations;
  • designation of the class of service (for firm trains - "FIRM").

Third line

SEATS 030 SEV SEV RAOP
  • numbers of seats;
  • security symbol;
  • abbreviated name of the road.
 
Fourth line

  • series and ticket number;
  • security code;
  • code of the document and its number in the sale request;
  • ticket's sale request number;
  • the date of issuance of the ticket;
  • time of ticket registration;
  • the code of the computer center that issued the ticket;
  • the code of the computer center that registered the seats;
  • the point of sale number;
  • number of the ticket office;
  • information about the fare;
  • the symbol "H", if the fare is considered in national currency.
 
 
Fifth line

PN 1902 ======= / TITOV = YV

Passport data of passengers (type of document, series and number, surname, initials).

Sixth and seventh lines

  • the total cost of the ticket (tenths are separated by a dot);
  • "TAR" - the fare value of the fare (ticket price and a reserved seat);
  • "+ KSB" - the amount of commission fee;
  • "+ STRSB" - the amount of insurance premium;
  • "+ USL" - the cost of services.
  • the amount of the levied tax;
  • the amount of tax in percent;
  • code of the subject of the Russian Federation;
  • the symbol "U" when you buy a ticket in a car with additional services;
  • the number of sets of meals included in  the ticket. If there is a designation V0, food in the car is not provided.
The fare can be indicated in Swiss francs or in national currency.

Eighth line

ARRIVAL BY TRAIN 125 * 4 29.06 At 09.27

time of arrival of the passenger at the destination.
 
For the stations located in Russia, Kyrgyzstan and the Petropavlovsk branch of the South Ural railway, Moscow time is indicated. For the CIS and Baltic countries, local time is indicated. If the train departs according to the old schedule, but arrives according to the new schedule, the time of arrival is not indicated. Tickets issued through ticket terminals connected to the Express-3 automated system are printed with a bar code in the lower right corner.
