Vladikavkaz International Airport is located in North Ossetia, near Beslan. Due to its proximity to this city, it is often called Vladikavkaz-Beslan. The complex is not large. Passenger traffic is about 400 thousand people per year. The runway is designed for Boeing-737, Airbus-320, AN-12, TU-134, etc.

In 2013, the runway was reconstructed, and a couple of years later, the light-signaling equipment was replaced, so the airport can receive night flights.

Terminals

The airport consists of one terminal.

Services

Despite its small size, the airport has a full range of services. In the two-story building there is a large hall, departure and arrival halls, cafes and shops. On the second floor in the left wing there is a VIP-room, where you can comfortably spend time before the flight. The price includes tea, coffee, sweets, television, newspapers and Wi-Fi, as well as preflight inspection and delivery to the aircraft by car. To visit this hall, you have to leave a preliminary application at the website of the airport. Cost of services starts from 7000 RUB. The building has a mother and a child room, which can be used free of charge by all passengers traveling with children under 7 years old. Luggage can be temporarily left in the storage room.
On the second floor there are two cafes. The airport has free Wi-Fi, but the signal is very weak.

How to get to the airport

The airport is located 26 km from Vladikavkaz and 5 km from Beslan.

By bus

From the bus station of Vladikavkaz, buses to the airport depart twice a day. There is no number for this route, only the direction is indicated on it; the fare is 31 RUB. The bus goes to the airport at 12:00 and at 18:00, and from the airport to Vladikavkaz at 13:30 and 19:30. The road takes about 20 minutes.

Besides, you can go by the intercity bus Vladikavkaz-Beslan, which has a stop at the airport. It is convenient to take this bus if you travel from Beslan.
