May 22, 2013 11:50

City Sightseeing in Moscow

River guide buses "City Sightseeing" started plying on the Moscow-river.

Since the 1-st of May guide river buses for 33 passengers started plying on the Moscow-river from the moorage on the Bolotnaya square, in Gorky Park and from the Novospasskiy monastery. Bright-red river passenger motor ships “Idegey” and “Venice” were launched by the operator City Sightseeing. Last year this company organized city tours in Moscow in double-decker buses. Motor ships go from the moorages once per hour.

The rout goes around the Golden Island through the Vodootvodniy Kanal and stopping at Gorky Park. The bought ticket has the same options as of the excursions in double-decker buses – you have the right to enter or go out at any bus stop during 24 hours since the moment of the first boarding.

The audio-system for voicing of tours is recorded in eight languages: Russian, English, German, Spanish, French, Chinese, Italian and Arabian.

The cost of a ticket for adults is 600 roubles, for students, children under the age of 15 and pensioners – 500 roubles. Children under the age of 5, war veterans, disabled persons of all categories and representatives of Mass Media can have this excursion for free. Besides, there is a special combo-ticket that allows to have ride either on motor ships and double-decker buses during 48 hours. You can make a transfer to a motor ship or get back to a double-decker bus in Bolotnaya square.
