 A modern sport and tourism complex “Kezenoi Am” has opened in Chechnya. The authorities of the republic hope that the opening of the sports and tourism facilities will be the starting point in the development of not only Russian, but also international tourism in the republic, as the press service of the head and the government of the region reported to Regnum IA. 

The “Kezenoi Am” complex that is located in a picturesque place on the shore of the lake with the same name includes a hotel with 58 rooms, luxury cottages with a total capacity of 40 persons and a VIP-cottage. The territory has a restaurant, a sauna, a sports complex with a total area of ​​1200 square meters, playgrounds, a boat station.

The head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov taking part in the opening ceremony noted that the construction of the complex was a historic event for the Vedensky District, saying: “Many of you remember that good sports facilities functioned here in the past and nurtured many outstanding athletes. But due to the tragic events in the republic, they have not been working for a long time. Today we gave it a new life. I am sure that the “Kezenoi Am” complex will be one of the most popular places in our region, attracting tourists from all over our country.”

Let us note that the first tourist all-season ski resort “Veduchi” is to open in the Chechen Republic in 2015, the pace of its construction was praised by the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov. The project that received a status of a special economic zone with the provision of tax incentives for ten years, according to the head of the subject, is of interest to German, Turkish, Israeli firms. Ramzan Kadyrov has high hopes for the development of the tourism industry in the region. The opening of the complex on Kezenoi Am, the construction of a camping in Benoi must provide thousands of people with jobs, increase tax revenues to the budget.
