In Bashkiria, excluding Yumaguzinskoye, there are two large reservoirs - Pavlovskoye and Nurimanovskoye. Both are considered the major touristic centers with hostels, tents, cafes and kiosks. Weekend tours and shuttle service are offered. Yumaguzinskoye reservoir is another thing. First, it is necessary to get here: there are no buses, and go by car is a special adventure. Breaking through the roads, filling out of passes (it is obligatory!) and finding yourself on a shore the brave travelers will not see crowds of fellow-travelers, not hear the roar of the provincial discos and not feel the resort barbecue flavor. All this does not exist here.
The only company that provides the touristic services on the territory of the reservoir is the administration of National Park.
The list of services includes horseback riding (1000 rubles per 3-4 hours) and boat trips on the floating landing stage.
Guided tours are only to the extent of group gathering, so that a visit should be notified in advance to the administration.
Who are these heroes who overcome all obstacles for Yumaguzinskoye water reservoir? Of course, they are fishermen. Here you can catch a big pike, catfish and pike perch. From small fish there is a roach, chub and rudd.
The territory of Yumaguzinskoye water reservoir belongs to the National Park of the Republic of Bashkortostan. For a visit you need to arrange a paid admission pass (in Nugush, Irgizly or Suren). It costs 250 rubles per car and 40 rubles per person per day. Information for fishers: the shore of the reservoir is very steep, so that in the summer there is no place to stand here with a fishing rod and you need to hire a boat. Rental price per day is from 5 to 7 thousand rubles (in summer of 2011). In the winter it is easier: the reservoir freezes and you can drill a hole in the ice and enjoy fishing.
