Halaktyrsky Beach: Local Pecularities
October 19, 2017 15:05

The Pacific Ocean is generally not suitable for swimming, as the water is cold and the waves are huge. Inhabitants of Kamchatka, however, swim there. If you want to follow their example, then check with the schedule of tides (it is printed in all local newspapers).

Sometimes during low tide in the ocean it is not safe even to enter, not to mention swimming: every year the tide takes several lives. On the other hand, walking on the beach is better at low tide: immediately after the sand, steep cliffs begin, and without calculating time, you can get trapped if the tide begins.

If you decide to go to Halaktyrka with an overnight stay, grab the liquid for the ignition: the fin, which is strewn with the shore, burns long and hot, but it is difficult to ignite it.
