November 16, 2017 17:56

Legends of the Oblachnaya Mountain (“Cloudy Mountain”): this peak is the highest in Primorsky Krai, located in the “Zov Tigra” National Park in Chuguevsky district of the region; it has long been considered magical.

It is still surrounded by legends about a flying creature frightening people with its screams similar to female cries.

Locals say that the creature looks like a man with membraneous wings like those of a bat. Others claim that a huge bird taking people away lives on the mountain.

Some believe that locals describe the Chinese dragons that really inhabit the caves of the Sikhote-Alin Mountains. There is another legend claiming that there was a highly developed state on the Oblachnaya Moutain very long ago, therefore dolmens has supposedly preserved there.
