Ostankino TV Tower is the main symbol of the Russian television and an important tourist attraction of Moscow city, in particular, and of Russia, in general. It is the highest freestanding construction in Europe. It is 540 meters high. Viewpoints of the Ostankino Tower are the only place from where one may view all sights of the capital at the same time. Visit the Tower and you would see Moscow city from the East to the West and from the North to the South.

The observation zone at an altitude of 85 meters opened on the Ostankino television tower in 2017.  A platform with a capacity of up to 10 people is located on a technical balcony, the entrance to which was previously allowed only to meteorologists. For the safety of guests, a viewing area of 10 square meters is surrounded by protective metalwork, all participants of the tour will be given protective helmets. Citizens and tourists will be able to see the Botanical Garden, the Ostankino television center, the business center "Moscow City" and other attractions in the western and north-eastern part of the city.  The meteorological complex of the television tower, which is considered to be the highest in Moscow, was established in 1967.   For Muscovites and tourists at an altitude of 337 meters there is also a closed observation deck with a panoramic view of the capital. 

The list of various Moscow events grows with the addition of new excursions to the Ostankino TV Tower. An educational excursions for schoolchildren will serve as an introduction to the long history of the Russian television, Ostankino TV Tower, and its various technical peculiarities. Those who are on the lookout for ghosts and mysteries will have their share of entertainment at the excursion dedicated to functional and technical secrets of the TV Tower.  And   "romantically minded young men and women" will be able to attend an excursion "A night for two".
