Due to its unique nature and exceptionally beautiful panoramic landscapes, Kuzbass attracts tourists from many countries.

In winter, Siberia and Kuzbass in particular are very beautiful when everything is covered with a snow blanket. Then it is time for active holidays in the famous ski resorts of the region. Usually the ski season lasts from November to April.

Ski resort "Sheregesh"

The ski resort “Sheregesh” is a tourist center at the foot of the Zelenaya mountain, 26 kilometers from the city of Tashtagola, 4 kilometers from the village of Sheregesh. The resort with a developed infrastructure, is annually gaining popularity not only among residents of Siberia. It offers a wide range of services for active recreation in the winter and summer.  In 2013, the Sheregesh resort entered the Guinness Book of Records, and in 2014 it was recognized as one of the most popular ski resorts in the country.

Despite the sufficient remoteness, tourists from all over Russia go to Sheregesh. It attracts winter sports enthusiasts every year from November to May with a large number of long trails of various levels of complexity, developed infrastructure and reasonable prices. Each ski area has its own ski lifts, ski schools, cafes, and rental stations.

Mountain resort "Mountain Salanga"

Mountain Salanga is a real alpine resort in the Siberian mountains, far enough from the noisy megalopolises and close enough to come here for the weekend. Everything here is like in the Alps -  beautiful nature, clean air, European comfort and a warm friendly atmosphere.

In winter, fans of active rest can enjoy natural snow and well-prepared tracks. In addition to skiing entertainment, you can drive snow scooters, walk, enjoy delicious food, take a steam bath, etc.

Trails with different levels of difficulty, depending on the level of training and skiing style are available here. For fans of ski acrobatics there are well-prepared springboards.

The trails themselves are located in the immediate vicinity of the residential chalets, where in addition to the super comfortable living, guests are offered a sauna, billiards, a playroom for children and a restaurant with a disco for adults.

Beautiful nature, clean air, European comfort and a warm family atmosphere ... All this is in the “Mountain Salanga” resort not only in winter but also in summer. The summer “Salanga” is also beautiful - first of all with its pristine taiga nature. In a small lake at the ski resort tourists enjoy fishing.

Ski Resort "Tanay"

At the foot of the mountains of the Salair ridge, the resort "Tanay" is located - an amazing place that combines the beauty of nature and a high level of service. At the resort, everyone will find rest for their preferences: ski holidays, a bath with a font, a sauna, indoor and outdoor pools, a rollerdrome, horseback riding and a wildlife park, sports grounds and bicycles, a billiard club, parachuting and many other things to enjoy.

The Tanay Mountains are not high, the length of the main ski slope of the mountain Slizun is only 1600 meters. But the ski complex is located in a cozy environment of the protected forest, on the picturesque foothills of the mountains of the Salair ridge and in mountain glades. Here, at a low altitude, excellent conditions are created for recreation and skiing.

In total, there are 7 ski slopes, equipped with a four-seater funicular and ski lifts. There are also two training tracks, conveyor lift for beginners, and a snow tubing track 300 meters (separate lift).

Alpine skiing complex "Yugus"

The ski complex “Yugus” is located on the left bank of the Tom River.

The “Ugus” tracks are rightfully considered to be one of the best sports tracks in Siberia. There are three tracks. The length of the special slalom line is 900 meters, the height difference is 300 meters, the width is 50–60 meters, the average slope is 19 degrees.

The giant slalom track is 1300 meters long, the height difference here is 300 meters, width is 50-60 meters, the average slope is 14 degrees. A tourist trail with a length of 1,400 meters begins there, with a height difference of 300 meters, a width of 30–40 meters and an average slope of 12 degrees. This track is great for beginners.

Right next to the cable car, people can rent ski equipment:   skis, snowboards, poles, boots, helmets, and glasses. The tracks of the complex are illuminated, there is a ski school for those who want to start learning alpine skiing or improve skiing techniques.

On weekends, there is a medical center and a rescue service in Yugus.

Alpine skiing complex "Gubernskiy center for snowboarding and alpine skiing"

The ski complex "Gubernsky Center for Snowboarding and Alpine Skiing" is located at the foot of the Misty Mountain in Mountain Shoria. It has been working since 2004. On the slopes of the mountain training sessions for the school of Olympic reserve in Alpine skiing are held. But the "Provincial Center" is open for all comers.

In the ski complex there are four tracks of different levels of difficulty and a snowboard park. To ensure the safety of the guests of the complex rescue teams work.

The length of the training track is 1600 meters, the width is 50 meters, the height difference is 360 meters. The track for experienced skiers is a bit shorter, only 1300 meters, but wider - 50 meters. The elevation difference  is 330 meters. For fans of extreme there is a so-called “black” trail 1400 meters long, 50 meters wide and with a height difference of 330 meters. The children's track is 700 meters long, and 50 meters wide. Three tracks of the “Provincial Center” are equipped with an artificial snow formation system.

All routes are serviced by lifts. There is a transition to the mountain Boulanger. In January 2016, a new modern building of the ski complex was opened. At the foot of the mountain there is a rental of any ski equipment, as well as catering services. On the slopes of the skiers, instructor and equipment rental services are available.

For the convenience of athletes and tourists, a separate highway was laid and an additional bridge was built over the Kondoma River.
