Primorsky Krai is a surprisingly picturesque and simply unique place in the Far East of Russia. Nature lovers will find beautiful hills here, the coast of the non-freezing Sea of ​​Japan, the fascinating underwater world, the unique Ussuri taiga, the mountain slopes of Sikhote-Alin, and many natural reserves. Primorsky Krai  has unique opportunities for the organization of therapeutic and recreational types of tourism. It offers natural healing and health resources, rich mineral water deposits and therapeutic mud, as well as unique springs, which have no analogues anywhere else in the world.

There are more than 3 thousand lakes in Primorsky Krai. Khanka is the largest one. Also, several small lakes ranging from 0.2 to 3.3 square   km are located in the south,  the Khasan region. Salt Lake Talmi is also located here.
