Foreign tourists love Russia for its wonderful nature.  In Russia, there are trekking opportunities   in almost any region - from  Kaliningrad  to  Primorye. Tours can be  of different length and level of complexity.

South

Mountains and the sea - this is what awaits travelers in the South of Russia. Here, regions differ in climate - from subtropics to glaciers. Most often, the path goes through the Caucasus Mountains. The most popular tour is called “Thirty” - it starts from the resort of Hajokh and ends in the village of Dagomys. During the trip, participants can visit archaeological and natural monuments such as dolmens and ancient asylums. Along the route you will see waterfalls, lakes, mountains, rivers, again waterfalls, again lakes, again rivers and mountains - you can see a lot of breathtaking places.

Altai

Here you can choose summer or winter hikes of different lengths. The Altai Mountains are easier to conquer than the Caucasus Mountains - they are lower and without steep elevation changes. In the summer, many stopping points are located in the forest. Natural monuments are mainly located around Belukha Mountain.

Karelia

Karelia is a beautiful region with lakes, swamps and taiga forests. During the trip you will get acquainted with the aborigines, their life and customs as close as possible. In Karelia, hiking is slightly extreme: in summer, the trekkers are haunted by mosquitoes and other insects, and in winter  it is possible only to ski here.

Baikal

One of the main hiking tours on Lake Baikal, in addition to visiting the lake, leads to  the Shumak mineral springs. They have great healing power. Thousands of tourists come here to try this water.

Kamchatka

In Kamchatka, backpackers are sent to the Klyuchevskaya group of volcanoes - this is one of the most interesting parts of the country in terms of the activity of "breathing" mountains. The trails are laid along the spurs and slopes of the Klyuchevsky volcano. Experienced tourists can climb the southernmost of the volcanoes of this group - Plosky Tolbachik, its height is more than 3 kilometers.

Siberia

Siberian trails will include  a visit to parks and nature reserves. For example, you may choose a route leading to the Pillars Reserve, famous for its wildlife.
