Anapa offers beaches with a total length of almost 55 km (more than 40 km sandy and about 10 km pebble), a large number of shops, restaurants and cafes, recreation centers and hotels of all levels. Anapa has everything you need for a good vacation.

Anapa is also famous for its health resorts: local mineral waters and mud successfully treat a wide range of diseases.



Anapa beaches

Anapa beaches are the best on the entire Northern Black Sea coast: 40 km of beaches - with fine-grained sand, 10 km - pebble. The width of the beaches in some places reaches 500 m. From the southern part of the city and further towards Novorossiysk, the beaches are pebble. From the central part of the city and further towards the Crimea, sandy beaches begin, where sometimes 20-30 m from the coast the sea depth does not exceed one meter, which allows children to swim freely. The swimming season lasts from late May to early October. The city sandy beach is divided into “zones of responsibility” of sanatoriums and pensions, and health resorts on Pioneer Avenue have their own beaches. The division of beaches is conditional, without fences, but with its lifeguards and  infrastructure.

Nudist beaches in Anapa

The most famous nudist beach of Anapa is located between the villages of Big and Small Utrish. You can enter the beach from any of these settlements, most importantly, in front of the sign - a brightly colored stone with the inscription Nude Beach - take off your clothes. The motto “Leave your clothes, everyone entering here” rules here and they will look askance at those dressed. Everyone is relaxed and friendly.

Nudists also often sunbathe outside the village of Vityazevo, on the Vityazevskaya Spit. It has no clearly defined boundaries, as you will see an abundance of people sunbathing without swimsuits – it means that you have come here.

Besides, nudists gather behind the Annunciation beach, on the Bugaz spit and behind Sukko, on rocky beaches on the way to the lighthouse. All of them are less popular than Utrish, and even nudists there share a strip of land by the sea with dressed people, which can create some discomfort for beginners.



Diving in Anapa

Underwater landscapes of Anapa will be interesting for both beginners and advanced divers. Among the main attractions of the area you will find (not only rocks, grottoes, petrified reefs and a variety of cold-blooded inhabitants) from mussels and raps to jellyfish and rays, and also a large number of wrecks: sunken barges and tankers sunk into the Great Patriotic War, and the domestic Il-2 and American Boston Bomber.

On the northern coast of Anapa, from the city center to Blagoveshchensk, the huge tanker Valerian Kuybyshev (8-12 m), broken into three parts, sinks into the sunken ships of the Odessa City Council (depth 10 m). At the Blagoveshchensk Spit, the remains of Il-2 rest, and higher along the coast, opposite Mount Kruglaya, there is the picturesque Bank of Mary Magdalene, where ancient ships were once anchored and fragments of the ancient Greek galley can be seen. The bottom is sandy, so diving is better during the calm sea.



The dive sites located south of the center of Anapa are characterized by remarkable underwater rocky landscapes: steep cliffs, dips, cracks and grottoes. A huge number of underwater living creatures live here and avid fishermen like to go underwater fishing. Of the wrecks, the most interesting are the Gorgippia transporter, the Red Cossack ship, and the destroyer Loud.

Diving in Anapa is carried out both from the shore, and from a boat. Depths is from 5 to 40 m, night dives are also possible.
