Tokarevsky lighthouse is one of the oldest lighthouses in the Far East, it still remains an important navigational structure and the most popular landmark of Vladivostok.


Alekseeva Bay, Pogranichnaya Bay and Stark Strait are the most suitable places for beach rest and swimming on the island of Popov.

Naberezhnye Chelny is a city with an ancient and rich history. The first written records of it date back to 1172, and already in the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries it turned into a major Bulgarian city and the centre of Yarsk region (the Coastal side) of the Bulgarian kingdom.


Chistopol is a neat little town on the banks of the Kama River preserving the atmosphere of a cozy merchant province founded a hundred and fifty years ago. All the attractions are located on two main streets paved with stones, all low houses are renovated and their appearance is pleasant to the eye, and the whole town with the area of 20 square kilometers is perceived as a walking zone.


Naberezhnye Chelny - a large industrial city of Russia, the second most populous and most significant city in Tatarstan. The homeland of the famous KAMAZ.


The houses of the town are built in a Soviet style. The new Church of Elijah the Prophet with a high Bell Tower on Gorkogo Street stands out against the general background.


The town grew out of the railway station built in 1899 year next to the eponymous estate where the writer N.N. Zlatovratsky lived.


Vytegra and its surroundings attract tourists with their ancient northern architecture, clear waters of Lake Onega and the possibility to pass the rivers of Vologda region that are full of rapids on catamarans.


Finno-Ugric tribes votes: Vod, Ingria and Chud have lived in the basins of the rivers of Narva and Luga since ancient times. The Slavs began to settle in these places from V-VI centuries. Kingisepp was founded by the Novgorod Boyar Ivan Fedorovich as the Yam fortress in 1384. It has been built in 33 days.


The first people settled in these places immediately after the advance of glaciers about 10 thousand years ago.


Gvardeysk, just like Kaliningrad, is often called by its prewar German name - Tapiau. It was founded by the Prussians.


The old German name of the town is Neuhausen, which means new houses. The official date of birth of Neuhausen is the year 1292. Then an earthen fortification and a fortress were built under Königsberg by the orders of the Bishop Christian von Mulchhausen.
