Rice with Stewed Vegetables

Ingredients:

2 glasses of rice, 4 glasses of water, 2 bulb onions, 2 table spoons of vegetable oil, 2 carrots, 1 table spoon of tomato paste, dill, celery or parsley, black pepper, salt.

Method:

Boil rice for about 10 minutes, drop on a sieve and wash under running water. Let water trickle down. Fry diced carrots and onion in oil, add water to it, bring to a boil, season to taste. Add rice and mingle it with vegetables and greens. Add salt or pepper. Serve hot.

Mushroom Cutlets

Method:

Boil shopped mushrooms in salted water. Chop onions finely and fry in oil. Boil rice until almost cooked and cool down. Mix mushroom with onion, rice, salt to taste. Add pepper. Shape small cutlets, roll in flour. Fry in vegetable oil. Serve with salads from fresh vegetables.

Ingredients:

500 of mushrooms, 2 table spoons of rice, 2 onions, salt, 3 table spoons of vegetable oil, 1/2of water.

Red beet paste

Ingredients:

red beetroot - 500g, sauerkraut - 500g, 1 bulb onion, 1 table spoon of tomato paste, 1 table spoon of sugar, 4 table spoons of vegetable oil, salt, black pepper.

Method:

Boil red beetroots, peel it, cut into small pieces and fry all over with sliced onions. Cut sauerkraut and stew it, add tomato paste and stew again for some minutes. Add red beet to stewed sauerkraut, shuffle thoroughly, and add sugar, salt or pepper.

Buckwheat soup

Ingredients:

3/4 litres of water, 4 potatoes, 1 carrot, 1 onion, 1 glass of buckwheat, greens, and salt.

Method:

Slice and boil peeled potatoes. Add buckwheat, chopped carrots, onion and vegetables. Add salt and simmer for half an hour.

Meager cookies

Ingredients:

6 glasses of water, 2glasses of starch, 1glass of vegetable oil, 1 tea spoon of baking soda, salt, citric acid, 1-2 glasses of water, 2glasses of sugar.

Method:

Mix flour with starch and vegetable oil, and knead dough. Add slaked in citric acid soda, salt, sugar and water. Roll out and slice the dough. Bake for about 15 minutes.
