TEDxDvortsovaya Square Online Conference

One of the first TEDx online conferences in Russia will bring together experts from various fields of science, art and business.

TED conferences have conquered the world thanks to vivid and concentrated 18-minute lectures by experts from various fields of activity. They were attended by such celebrities as Stephen Hawking, Bill Gates, Elon Musk. The Russian TEDx conference was first held on the New Stage of Alexandrinka in the fall of 2019. More than 500 thousand people watched its records.

This time the event will be held in an online format, the theme of the conference is “Question of time”. Participants will share their thoughts about time and its impact on various areas of our lives - business, art, society. They will also look into the future and tell what changes await us.

The program will feature: Director of the St. Petersburg Economic Forum Alexey Valkov, choreographer Vladimir Varnava, psychiatrist and psychotherapist Anastasia Treschevskaya, economist Maxim Lapin, candidate of physical and mathematical sciences Andrei Sebrant and other important speakers.

Today, scientists come up with robots and artificial intelligence, create vaccines against diseases and are looking for alternative sources of energy. Thanks to the rapid development of all areas of knowledge, people suddenly realize that he are capable of anything. But suddenly it turns out that point events can cause a "butterfly effect", entailing irreversible consequences.

The only thing that remains unchanged is a matter of time. TEDxDvortsovayaSquare speakers will share their views on time and tell how it affected the processes in society, business and art, as well as what changes are yet to come.

TEDxDvortsovayaSquare was first held on October 1, 2019. The event  brought together more than 350 guests, 500,000 online viewers and 7 speakers, including:

TED as a movement originated in the USA and spread worldwide thanks to the bright 18 minute performances. TED speakers share their unique ideas and expert opinions in the fields of technology, business, creative industries, science. At different times on the TED venues  Dalai Lama, Steve Jobs, Stephen Hawking, Ilon Musk performed. TEDx conferences are organized under a special license, which makes it possible to hold an independent event anywhere in the world.
